Convention of Research and Innovation 2012
In Warsaw, on 30th November 2012, Convention of Research and Innovation 2012 ‘Time for Polish technologies’ was held. Convention was organized by the National Contact Point for Research Programmes of the EU, Ministry of Science and Higher Education and the Ministry of Economy. During the conference 300 representatives of the world of science and business gathered to discuss the need of development of coherent policy on research and innovation and the role of Polish technology in the scope of the 7 FP and new Horizon 2020 program. The debate was attended by former President of the European Parliament Jerzy Buzek, Vice-Prime Minister Jacek Guliński and coordinator of INDECT project, professor of AGH in Krakow - Andrzej Dziech. During the debate representatives emphasized the role of the relationship between science and industry.
