EUREL (www.eurel.org) is the Convention of National Societies of Electrical Engineers of Europe. It represents 15 Member Societies in 15 countries across the Europe. Annually it organizes a Young Engineers Seminar (YES) which aims to familiarize the attendees with the way Europe works.

Two INDECT representatives: Michał Grega and Paweł Korus took part in the seminar. They have presented both technological and ethical challenges faced by the INDECT project. Their presentation was directly followed by a talk by Ralf Bendrath from European Parliament regarding the impact of technology development on people's privacy.
