CeBIT exhibitors effectively demonstrated that the industry is matching words with deeds by successfully translating the debate into real products and solutions. “Managing Trust” was the keynote theme across the board: at the opening ceremony as well as at the CeBIT Global Conferences, the event's more than 1,500 seminars and workshops, and at the exhibitors’ stands.

This year’s expo was divided into 4 areas of interest: CeBIT pro, gov, life and lab. CeBIT pro was strictly connected to professional ICT solutions for business operations. CeBIT gov, on the other hand, offered a comprehensive overview of the challenges currently facing the public sector and the healthcare industry. Cebit life took a fascinating look at ICT trends shaping people’s work and lifestyles. Here, professional users, traders and technology enthusiasts were offered solutions, ideas and the latest developments for business or home use. Finally, CeBIT lab offered an outstanding platform for the presentation and discussion of groundbreaking projects.
Each day of the expo was devoted to a certain area of development:
- All things Smart;
- Flying the Cloud;
- Connect your Lifestyle;
- Social Business.
According to the participants, the event was highly successful and well organized. Over 300,000 attendees from more than 110 countries came to Hanover to take part in the expo, including more than 50,000 visitors from outside Germany.
