INDECT Event Management

Dear Colleagues,

New features related to Event Management are available in the INDECT CMS. A new option Full Calendar has been added to the menu. It allows to display a full screen calendar of INDECT related events. You can view all of the registered events or limit the display only to the ones of interest.

At the same time, I'd like to remind you that in order to enable event display on the calendar (both the full screen and the compact one) the event must be published. Initially all created events are in draft state. You can either publish them internally (visible only to logged in users) or submit for external publication (visible to anyone). Each item needs prior acceptance of the INDECT administrator before it is actually made publicly available.

I would also like to remind you that the events created on the INDECT homepage can be saved in iCal format and imported directly to your calendar applications.

You can also subscribe to a news channel that will notify you about new items on the INDECT homepage. Observe the homepage as it announces RSS channels in places where this feature is available. Please make note of the fact that unless your RSS reader supports authentication features, only public items will be displayed.
