Meeting at GUT, Gdansk
A meeting of British Police representatives and Gdansk University of Technology scientists took place at GUT, Nov 19, 2010.
Four representatives of Merseyside Police of Liverpool were visiting Gdansk Police and the GUT. INDECT project assumptions, goals and current results were presented to guests. Discussion focused on data acquisition, storage, and indexing - main interests of guests, who are involved in cyber-crime prevention. A short demonstration of GALERA followed, one of the largest supercomputer cluster of Eastern Europe build and maintained at Gdansk University of Technology.
