Presentation at The European Parliament in Brussels
On March 29th, at The European Parliament in Brussels a presentation on the project INDECT was held. The meeting was chaired by Paweł Kowal, MEP, who also organized the presentation.
Main objectives, methodology and the idea of the project was depicted in the presentation. Moreover, the partners involved in the project's development were thoroughly presented.
INDECT, as clearly stated by Professor Dziech, the Project Coordinator, is completely safe as regards the protection of personal data and does not increase the interference with privacy. Smart cameras record the threat and trigger an alarm system, but the decision whether to intervene or not is always taken by a human supervisor of a monitoring system.
