VQEG Meeting, June 28 - July 2, 2010, Krakow
On June 28 – July 2 2010 AGH in Krakow, Poland held VQEG (Video Quality Expert Group, www.vqeg.org) a meeting. On the meeting there was a special session focused on CCTV quality. During this session a special interest group QART (Quality Assessment for Recognition Task) was established with Carolyn Ford from NTIA/ITS and Mikolaj Leszczuk from AGH as co-chairs. The group will provide different recognition tests like fire detection, people counting, human monitoring (action recognition), license plates’ recognition and different other recognition tasks. It was also pointed out that QART will cooperate with VQiPS (Video Quality in Public Safety) group.
